The outdoor space is what makes this accommodation special - two macrame hammock chairs for lounging, a fire pit for evening drinks and a BBQ for cooking up a storm under the stars.
Inside the shepherd's hut, you'll find a king-size cabin bed, gas hob, woodburning stove oven, fridge and a proper bathroom with shower and WC. All towels are provided, so you can pack light. The wood-fired hot tub is the cherry on top - yes, it takes a bit of effort to heat up, but that's half the fun!
Nearby attractions include Tintern Abbey (12th century ruins), high wire adventures in the Forest of Dean and cycling routes galore. Monmouth is just 3.5 miles away with artisan delis, bookshops and wine merchants. The Brecon Beacons National Park offers stunning day trips too.
