The Honey Pot Reviews

My wife and I spent a week at the Honey Pot as we celebrated her birthday and our wedding anniversary in one of our favourite areas of the country. It was the perfect base for visiting the endless beautiful locations for walking and nature reserves and also a very short drive from Chepstowthe Welsh border and had a nice view of the river Severn. We greatly appreciated the welcome pack and the brief but helpful welcome from the hosts and of course the lovely hot tub to rest our aching bodies after long walks exploring the forrest and Wye valley. It was immaculate, comfy and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, you can tell thought and attention to detail has been put in to make sure guests have everything they need to make their stay as relaxing as possible.
We just loved our stay at the Honey Pot. We were made to feel really welcome and it's such a well thought out, cosy and comfortable place to stay. Everything you could possibly need is provided and the location is lovely. It's really well located for access to stunning countryside and places of historic interest. There are great places to eat a few minutes drive away. We completely concur with all the previous 5 reviews and thoroughly recommend.

First class cottage backed by first class and friendly service by the owners. Ideal location for exploring the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean situated just s few miles from Chepstow. Getting there was so easy, down the M4 then right onto the A48 then shortly after leaving Chepstow the property is on the right. No driving around narrow country lanes required, plus good parking just outside the front door. We are so pleased that we picked this cottage and don't think we could have found a better place.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Honey Pot and I totally agree with the previous reviews. The property had all we needed for a comfortable few days. It was well equipped and everything was of a high quality and spotlessly clean. We would happily recommend a stay in The Honey Pot.
The Honey Pot was a brilliant holiday cottage! We were greeted with a warm welcome and a lovely goodie bag and we felt immediately that it was like home from home. It was warm, cosy, well equipped and had beautiful views, overlooking the Severn estuary. From the quaint garden, all this could be seen, including Shetland ponies and donkeys and it also sports a hot tub for that extra luxurious touch! It was also well situated geographically to visit lots of nearby interesting sites. We had a lovely relaxing week there and would certainly highly recommend it.

We had a very enjoyable stay at The Honey Pot. The property is very pleasantly laid out, tastefully and comfortably furnished. It is very clean and in a good location to explore the Forest of Dean, the Wye Valley to Monmouth as well as Chepstow and beyond into South Wales. Plenty of local walking possibilities. But the whole experience was enhanced by some extra surprising touches and the very pleasant owners living nearby.
Lovely homely cottage with everything you need and more. Hot tub and large bed with quality bedding added to the luxury. Also lovely to have robes and extra towels for the hot tub! Very helpful owners and family
