We really appreciated the thoughtful touches and little extras that made us feel so welcomed. Although it's close to the owners' place, it felt quite private, which was lovely. The outdoor space around the hot tub was well maintained. We could hear some traffic, but it didn't bother us. Definitely try the bunch of grapes for Sunday lunch in Newcastle Emlyn!

The location is perfect for exploring the area, which we loved. The pub food at the Bunch of Grapes really hit the spotand we also enjoyed the Chinese from The Blue Bell Inn. Aberporth beach is lovely, especially the dog-friendly side. With a few upgrades to the property, we'd definitely recommend it, but it's not quite there yet.

We had such a lovely stay at Dairy Cottage in Black Lion Cynwylefed, Carmarthenshire. The place was beautifully kept, really well equippedand had a cosy feel that made us feel right at home. The owners are genuinely lovely and made sure we had everything we needed, which was much appreciated. We loved how secluded it was, yet it's only about half an hour to some great towns and attractions like the botanic garden and steam railway - perfect for day trips. The surprise hot tub was a real highlightand we made good use of it every evening. When we arrived, they even left treats for our dog, which was such a thoughtful touch.
